    Once in a blue moon a random person will have gotten a whiff of something before it's nationally reported, but about 99.99% of leaks that turn out to be true come from big time reporters. Yes some big reporters leak things from their claimed sources that is utter BS. And we're not even doing that. We're holding on to leaks from twitter users. Nothing is new on Melo, not on ESPN, not on Bleacher Report, or wherever else. They may hate us but pretty sure they'd like to be the first to report something.

    He did report the trade before Phil was fired. I'm pretty sure everyone agrees the deal would have been done if Phil did not get fired. That is something.

    So did Stephen A and a couple other guys, again could have easily threw something and hoped it stick.

    The most credible (not probable) scenario is he's friends with someone in the organization (not front office role) and heard Carmelo was willing to waive his no trade clause only for us. He assumed that means a deal has to happen, or his friend is not that smart and told him that a deal will have to happen because of this, but we have learned that it doesn't because in short Ryno's contract sucks.

    Melo is willing to waive his No Trade Clause for just Houston. That is all that has been legit the past two months. A lot of sides figured 'well makes sense for everybody so it HAS to happen.' Nope. It makes sense for all sides except the one that can't afford to have any sensitive information leaked to any reporter or any Potato head, and that's the New York Front Office.
