Man poor kid. Wasn't setting the world on fire but was guiding the Vikings to better seasons. Some of these in contact injuries lately have been troubling. Don't think these players bodies are dealing with the strain quite like they hoped.
If Shawn Livingston can come back Bridgewater has a shot, but he'll never be the same ~ non-contact full knee implosion is really unheard of ~ he's lucky he didn't sever the nerve.
Update: Kennard McGuire, the agent for Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater, tells ESPN’s Adam Schefter the report that his client is likely to miss the entire 2017 season has “zero substance and no credibility.” “I would not overreact to a story that has zero substance and no credibility,” McGuire tells Schefter.
I hope that's right. I've read a couple of interviews from Teddy...seems like a great guy. Definitely easy to root for.
Yeah, it was almost inevitable, but it's unfortunate because as some have mentioned, he's a good guy that's easy to root for. it's just too bad that he wasn't better at football and better at staying healthy.
I know you'd love to see him give up considering you've been rooting against him ever since the draft but Teddy isn't just going to quit this easily.
It doesn't matter to me one way or the other but honestly I wish him well.....and am really glad he's not my problem.
https://www.playerprofiler.com/nfl/teddy-bridgewater/ WRONG teddy bridgewater under mike mcarthy in that packers offense would be just as lethal as aaron rodgers. He was stuck with qb killers like adrian peterson and norv turner the first few years of his career. Sucks he got got hurt, but he hasnt played in a year and still has the same rating as carson wentz on madden 18. Thats how much people respect his skillset
