I think my biggest problem with the whole thing is that if Luke Cage or Jessica Jones were to punch or kick a mortal non superhuman then they'd pretty much die for sure.....yet they keep acting like it's just a normal kick or punch.
After 8 episodes... meh. Let's move onto the Punisher and perhaps the best part of this TV universe -- Jon Bernthal's insane performance.
Episode 3: I wonder if The Hand has a letterhead and signs checks with, "The Hand". It seems like everybody knows them but they remain a mystery to our heroes. Does Luke Cage own only one hoodie?
Right? Like I feel their issue should be actually landing a shot, but when they do the dude should ****ing fly
1. Daredevils 2. Jessica Jones 2a. First Half of Luke cage 2b. Defenders 3. Second Half of Luke Cage . . . . . LAST - Iron Fist
Need a couple of you to answer this: Is it worth me watching Iron Fist before watching Defenders? Should I bother to go back and watch Iron Fist after watching Defenders?
to understand the defenders story? not really. I bet you can figure out everything. Maybe read Iron Fists Wikipedia page real quick to understand who he is.
I would maybe watch it before just because the plot in the Defenders is kinda focused around Iron Fist. But I don't think it is good enough to need to watch any of the previous shows, its just not that complicated or well done.
There are characters and ideas that are introduced in it that are kind of helpful in watching Defenders, but it's not anything you can't sort of pick up as you go. I probably didn't hate Iron Fist as much as some did, but it's for sure not great.
Not sure but I got news he got his own show, I think sooner or later he will make an appearance. Might not be this season though.
Because of both the character and Bernthal being the actor, Punisher has the potential to leave all of the other Netflix-Marvel series in the dust. I am excited.
I could see Ghost Rider or Blade doing so if those happen as rumored. Moon Knight could be awesome too.
