With all of the drama surrounding Melo and is it imminent or on the 2 yard line or is he really going to Portland or whatever, it has been easy to overlook the fact that we traded for Chris Paul. Chris Paul. Crazy. I really cannot wait to see what he and Harden are able to do both together and alternating so one of them is always on the floor. Its going to be amazing
From paying Matt Maloney to this day, to drafting Bryce Drew and passing over Houston's own Rashard Lewis twice to watching Francis dribble and be relieved by Moochie to see some more dribbling to trotting out names such as Wesley, Barry and Sura while having Championship aspirations and being the retirement home for has been PG's such as Rod Strickland and Mark Jackson to multiple 10 day contracts for the old Rick Brunson, Eldridge Recasner and young John Lucas III, Ish Smith, to watching Francis come back to dribble some more and thinking we had one of the deepest pg rotations with Francis, Alston, Brooks, Mike James and Bobby Jackson to debating who was better between Lowry and Dragic to arguing over Lin vs Bev to having to play Harden out of position all I can say is ****ing finally! The struggle for that true superstar PG has been way too real.
While it is an amazing feeling to finally have a superstar at PG, I can't say that we haven't been well served at that position. Both Lowry and Dragic were very good PG's. Harden was also amazing in that role as well. Before those guys however, we were definitely dying for a PG.
Chris Paul is so jacked. He has already had an effect on Harden. Now let's see if he can teach Harden how to have heart.
Or we could just post a bunch of Chris Paul highlights to get pumped about: ****Please note how often he shoots a 3 with a big man guarding him. It's smart math.. you have a much better chance at the team getting an offensive rebound if one of their better rebounders is trying to block your shot. Smart player that Chris Paul...
