Fighting.....but now that you say it, I could build a 15 foot tall fence and have almost no worry. Maybe building. I say this in the zombie world where they don't just pile up on themselves and create a tall pile.
I would say the skills would go outdoor survival (I know this entails a lot, and is kind of cheating, but it's sort of one thing), self defense (hand to hand and weapons training), and engineering in that order. If you had all 3, you'd be pretty set. Now medical would be super handy, but it doesn't really matter if you don't have the other 3 so for me it comes in at 4.
I haven't played that game yet, but I do play 7 days to die on PC which is basically an open world survival game with zombies and ****. I usually go for bows/archery in the beginning and tool smithing, maybe find a pot and a water source to boil water. If you can do all of those things you can survive. Once you survive then you need to start breaking into some houses and ****, grab whatever you need then call some friends and dismantle their **** for parts you can use to build stuff with. Forgot what happens next...probably need to find a wrench and maybe some electrical components to get started, steel smithing too.
As long as I have my stacks of bullion gold and silver I think I should be ok. I should be able to ride out any apocalyptic scenario.
Anyone else think it's kinda sad that a black man is asking for advice on skills to survive a zombie apocalype. Dude, @Rocket River , it's hopeless. Best you can do OP is get a job at the local zoo, make friends with all the lions, watch some How To be a Motivational Speaker videos, brush up on your Shakespeare, and grow some cool dread locks. medical engineer agriculture I think anyone can learn to fight if they survive long enough, but the items I have listed would take way too long to learn in an apocalypse if time is a factor
