Say Hello to Better Uniforms!

Other than the stripes, it looks better. They are forced to change them since that part definitely looks horrible.

Does anyone know who's in charge of the Rockets uniforms, anyone on twitter? Can't believe they seriously think this looks good, this was the opportunity to get rid of a mistake made 13 years ago and they still couldn't just get rid of those stripes on the side.

 

To me, it looks like a knock-off i'd find overseas.

That's like saying an old piece of dog **** that's been sitting in your lawn for days looks better because someone came around and cut off the edges of said turd. It's cool that we have a better turd.....

 

Uhmm okay, whatever works for you haha seriously though, aside from that side panel which is hideous regardless, the rest has improved.

 

Would take sleeves over that garbage.

 

Give me this one, our black uni's and the retros, call it a day.

 

Nike should have cut off the stripes on the shorts just like they did on the jersey so that it matches... and also outline the bottom of the shorts in gray just like they did on the arm holes. Like this:

 

Then it would look even more like UH's uniforms

 

It looks better than having mismatching shirt and pants.

Ive seen the jerseys for all teams this yr...Rockets Red/White will be the same style as the Harden picture above, the Black jersey will be similar as well and all teams will be getting a "heritage" jersey to be revealed on black friday. Unfortunately for us, it is basically the red jerseys with chinese lettering on the front. The heat will have a Miami Vice style jersey, Spurs will have a military camo jersey, GS with a chinese new year style, Toronto with "north" font jersey and the Jazz with a sunset backdrop style(heavy orange) to name a few.

 

You guys know that those silver stripes represent shark fins right? The shark fins representpower and success in Chinese culture so they ain't going anywhere

 

still reminds me of the raptors side panels too much but 10000% better this way. it just flows better and is easier on the eyes. i would also make the 'rockets'. too small


side note: the kings jerseys are amazing and work really well with the nike design.

 

That looks like an easily reproduceable template to copy for PHX too.

 

If they get rid of the ugly stripes from the jersey and shorts they will look good.

 

Not buying it, sorry. This doesn't fit the community dedicated jersey, except for Miami and Toronto.

 

I'm a huge fan of the gray. All business. Understatement is a beautiful thing.

 

That's fair, all I can say is I have seen the nike book first hand...Posted awhile back about the Rockets red jersey and its expected look and it was accurate

 

So the Athlete's mindset is our black jersey and the community is freaking Chinese..doesn't make sense, hope you are wrong.
