Well, F. Not only puts the another arm short tonight and takes somebody out of the current rotation, but also takes him out of any trade discussions. Very poor timing.
Well it looks like Paulinos suspension will allow them to recall Diaz without waiting the full 10 days, which seems pretty coincidental. So my guess is they knew of the suspension rather than made a gaffe.
That makes much more sense than Luhnow being unable to read a calendar. Paulino is a ****ing idiot. I mean, I wanted him to gain some weight, but jeezus.
baseball gods just reminding jeff to trade. nothing more to see here. "Over pitching" the new "over training" He should just say he thought the label said aerobic not anabolic..no entiendo.
I'm guessing this means he's failed a couple of other tests? It looks like he's eligible to return for the last game of the season. This blasts his trade value, but he showed some good stuff and pitching knowledge. Let's hope we've got a pennant wrapped up, and he pitches a few innings in game 162 to rest the other guys heading into the playoffs.
Who said anything about judging his results? He's clearly got MLB caliber stuff, and I generally liked his approach to pitching. He was inconsistent, but I would have him ahead of Musgrove and Martes in the pecking order to eat up starts for our beleaguered rotation.
Okay, you are right. He made six starts and we can not make any sort of preliminary evaluations on him whatsoever.
