16pts on over 50% shooting and he even made a three u dumb fks! what a wasted opportunity. a 10-15mpg bench guy who can play decent defense and hustles an has athleticism only 3m per for 2 years. "he has no shot" who the **** cares? you can hide him more often than not in good offensive team, rockets are elite offensive team. its not like he's gonna be out there for 48mpg like ariza and harden. even 5mpg would've been good, giving harden or ariza a nice rest. but of course "we need 4 shooters on the court at all times"
lol.... a good game happens and folks fall apart. He's averaged 4 pts in 10 minutes with a eFG% of 52% with the Nets. I had high hopes for him this year, but he simply isn't the 3&D player the organization hoped he'd be.
Who knows? Maybe it was this : http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...ortedly-to-be-declined-will-become-free-agent
I seriously doubt D'Antoni would let him see the court with his tight rotations. He most likely would have the same role he had before, mostly cheering section.
Because everyone knows he's going to be the next star! Brooklyn dumped him despite his cheap contract and ALL THAT POTENTIAL. They obviously don't want star players.
If the Nets who are starved for draft picks declined to pay him $3.5m, then I would say he's probably done. Always hate to see players with great athleticism get to this point.
What's your fascination with mediocre players like Chandler portions, KJ MCDonalds, fat Joshua Smith? They may be good enough for your stinky Mavs but they are not good enough for the Rockets
