Fiers' 12 - 6 was pretty fun to watch last night as well once he got in a groove. His resurgence is nothing short of amazing. The performance from Paulino and Martes isn't too shabby either.
This one is so out of hand that it's not even showing up on my CBS Sports app. Nothing like a trip to Oakland to cure a "slump."
I was just pointing out how you conveniently used his "lifetime" stats to make him appear like he has no business leading off, not saying he should.
Whats really funny is that NOBODY said he should. What I said, and it was clearly just musing, is that if the Astros wanted to move Springer down to take advantage of his power- Marisnick may be a good replacement at leadoff based on his stats THIS YEAR. Dork patrol jumped all over it. This is a funny place. Mick thanks for understanding my post and what it actually said. Some here just cannot do that very well.
Reddick a single away from a cycle. Probably won't have another at bat though unless there's another rally.
They should have called this game after the 2nd inning based on the Mercy Rule. Now the A's are fattening up on our worst pitcher.
