Good fastball and slider. But his placement was a little all over the place. That being said, he accomplished something in his debut inning that the Astros hadn't done so far in the game--not give up a run.

I am enjoying the more laid back approach from the Angels booth. I love stats, but Kalas is over the top often times.

Astros catchers cannot throw out a baserunner. If I'm the other team, then I'm exploiting that every time. That's a definite weakness.

Frustrating that we can't go innings without giving up a run. This is the Astros reality unfortunately until the rotation as a whole can be men enough to keep from getting constantly injured

Very good he locked it down ultimately. Those first 2 ABs were hit looong. After that, weak ground balls enabled the 100s.

TIME FOR A ROAD TRIP

 

Offense is just not the same at home. The team usually gets better pitching at home though.

 

i'm not even worried too much about a loss tonight. We would only be up 12 games.......

Just in case we weren't sure his complete **** numbers in AAA wouldn't translate to the majors, they have.

 

Guess we could've used an off day after that long road stint. What an embarrassment this has been. Luckily it's "Star Wars" night. Cringe.
