Gavin news hurt. Blood boy bit was great.
Bachman hurts more. My favorite character.
I will say that I've realized this show has several characters that make me laugh -- I think they can sustain these losses and still be funny. Jian Yang has been really funny lately.

 

I love the show, but Erlich is leaving? Not sure how it survives that.

 

I saw he had a comedy special and thought this might happen

He ranges from funny to annoying.

Again I haven't followed the most recent episodes, but I wasn't aware that the actor playing Gavin is not coming back, I thought he was still attached to next season

 

Jian Yang is only funny in his dialogue exchanges with Erlich.

 

I don't like Gavin leaving. He had potential, but I could see his character getting stale. Not sure if I will hold on much longer, it's getting to be a bit of a grind.

 

Where did you see that Gavin isn't coming back?

Agreed but I can't see them dumping him. Jian Yang is a millionaire but he isn't leaving the incubator.

 

Bachman is too integral. Don't see it surviving with him leacing

 

Yeah, it just hasn't gone anywhere, and the show is in season 4... It's approaching TWD haha. I'm still current but starting to lose some interest, and with less characters returning they're going to need to change something else to make it interesting. If in season 5/6 it's a rehash I'll be out, have plenty of other stuff to binge. This reminds me of the League holding on too long (obviously not exactly the same type of show but formula got stale).

 

The league at least had characters I liked. I don't like Richard (he's kind of a sissy). I don't like Dinesh or Gillfoil or really anyone on the show. Sure, they're funny, but I actually sometimes get annoyed by them. So without a character investment, it's hard to stay when it gets stale. At some point Richard needs to succeed or become a bagger at Von's.

 

Wife and I binged this season yesterday. Her comment was poignant. "I feel like every episode is them just pitching something to a new company." It's just a loop and now we're back at square one with the same incubator and the same new Tech by Richard and his friends helping him out for free.

This needs to start getting somewhere.

 

You wash your filthy mouth with soap for that comment. I could have gone another 10 seasons of that show, just get rid of Taco.

eventually gilligan and the skipper had to get out of the island. It's not there yet for me but I get the complaints. Seems like Bachman got a big head.
Jared is the one that cracks me up. I'd watch a spinoff of him.
