Thankfully, I don't think there are enough of those idiots to fund him. Just look at what Bomani said on HQ today. I'll try to quote as close as possible... 'the only people who can afford to pay $495 for a shoe are my age. and people my age might humble ourselves to buy michael jordans shoes. but not 19 year old lonzo ball's shoes.'
I told you he was a genius even if by accident. He created buzz and exclusivity. New slaves love to buy things they don't need and things other people don't have. Not only that but celebrities are probably the majority of their orders so he'll get free promotion and modeling on twitter, instagram, snap, etc...
That's what bugs me the most, dude is a complete a$$hole and trying to make money with his sons, only possible because the media keeps showing his face 24/7. Should've never given this clown the spotlight, it's crazy how his blatant attempts for attention worked out for him. Remember him talking about his sons being better than Curry, him beating MJ and ****, sad to see these cheap tactics work.
only shoe I paid $300 for were the 2008 kobe mcfly hyperdunks. You ain't no time travella' without those, ya feel me? these bbb are terrible. Reminded me of the harden shoes straight from the factory from a couple of seasons ago. this dude is putting so much pressure on his kids and doesn't even know it or care, either way it's not cool.
Now he wants 3 Billion for a shoe deal LMFAO. This guy. I have nothing against Lonzo, but I hope he crashes and burns so his dad can eat ****. http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/19404697/lavar-ball-now-wants-3b-shoe-cos-want-get-deal
This guy, and his boys, have crazy confidence. It is their single greatest attribute. If Lonzo is GREAT, they are going to take the league by storm. BTW, F NIKE. Good for the Balls, and I hope Nike gets DOMINATED.
A package deal for a Superstar signing? I've never seen that in Collegiate athletics. Anyway, this has all the hallmarks of a Marinovich style flame out.
The LiAngelo guy definitely won't make the NBA. No athleticism, no defense. LaMelo has a chance, providing he can become serious about playing defense. He is still young, but I'm not sure he has improved since I first saw him.
