Actually....the Texans are built to go deep in the playoffs. They are/were just missing the key piece......The QB. Trying to correct that.
Don't take this too seriously. This comes from a season or two ago after a bad Texans game, someone created a :"Texans make me appreciate the Rockets" thread. We jokingly bring this up when one of the Houston teams have a really bad performance.
Basically whenever a Houston sport ends, I just say at least we have "insert other 2 teams here" to root for. This cycles every year. But I still think it will change. LETS GO STROS! and then TEXANS!
I appreciate all Houston sports. But hot doggit Harden ticked me off. Messed off game 5 and completely quit in game 6 Nimo.
Here is the truth of it, I quit on Harden two years ago when he set the record for turnovers in the playoff. At that time there was a rumor he was in a strip club late into the morning the day of the game. That did it. Then this last season. He looked more committed, for focused. The strip club stories diminished. And then the "Big Quit" looking hungover, stoned, or something. I am done. I won't follow the Rockets as long as Harden is on the team. Why should I, why should anyone? You know how it is going to end. If Harden comes out and tells the truth, checks himself into a rehab or some combination of the two, I will be back. CF is fun so I will mostly hang around the other forums.
Currently I am on the same page. Im like I won't follow this team as long as Harden is on it. We are talking about 3 straight year's of this nonsense from him. Dude was so humble in year one. Then the shoe deal happened and stardom took over. He had McHale fired, completely shut Howard out the offense and the rest of his antics. Maybe once the smoke has settled I will watch or attend a game. But right now I am still ticked the heck off.
