    I really hope the Astros win the division and they go for the wild card instead of blowing it up. I think Rangers current group is at end of their run without reserves in the wings.

    Speaking of small samples:

    We/Us struck out a lot last year, yes? We changed that from the FO on down. This year we make a whole lot more contact. Now we lead MLB in DPs.

    I prefer the latter. For every DP that happens we seemingly get a few BABIP gifts like Bregman's bloop double the other day. Strikeouts nothing positive really happens; balls in play any number of positive events can happen.

    Pitchers can breath a sigh of relief when Correa is up with a man on 3rd and less than 2 out. Beltran fails there as well but again the biggest failure there is on Correa. Cleanup batter can't be this bad.

    He came through in a situation where for the most part the game was already decided. Pressure was off because they were already up 7-4. He's killing the team in higher pressure situations.

    He's upped his game from terrible to simply below average IMO. Still, no excuse for him to bat 4th.
