    The Rockets are fortunate to be down only 3. If Denver cools off just a little and the Rockets don't put them in the penalty so early, they can come back and win this.

    Rockets trail the Nuggets, 65-62, at halftime. Denver outrebounding the home team, 30-13.

    Rockets shot 9-23 in the second quarter and were outscored 37-27.

    Nuggets shooting 50(51.1) percent from the floor against the Rockets tonight. On the season, they shoot 46.7, tied for seventh-best in NBA.
