DeAndre Jordan airballs two free throws vs. Sixers

lol the funny thing is Capela is actually better considering he doesn't shoot enough FT's. In most of the games this year where he shot more than 2 Ft's he has shot over 50%. It's just utterly pathetic DJ still air balls FT's like that

So what's your point here? You're saying Capela is better than DJ and would be in the 50-60% range if he shot more, while DeAndre is already in that 50-60% range while taking a shitload of FTs.

Reality is, Capela is a worse FT shooter than DJ until he proves otherwise. Please don't be such pathetic homers.

 

actually my point is pretty clear. you tried to claim DJ is a better FT shooter then Capela when in reality he isn't. They're very much comparable where Capela has shown improvement while DJ absolutely NONE. False. Both made improvements. DeAndre hasn't shot this well since 5 years ago. Obviously there's no guarantee that the percentage will stay this way just like there's no guarantee that Capela won't regress.

Yeah, because his FT percentage is low. It's still low enough to warrant hacking him even now. Capela's percentage warrants it even more.

 

since you believe %'s tell the entire story, lets make a bet? By the end of the regular season who has the higher FT% between Capela and DJ.

 

If your way of making a counter-argument is proposing a bet and hoping that you win, well that's fine I guess. But that bet is silly because it adds the future (even if it's only half a season) into the mix. I have no way of knowing what will happen in the future. Capela could go on a hotstreak and boost his percentage, while Jordan might go into a slump. We're only discussing the present here and I have facts/stats on my side. Taking that bet would also be silly on my part because Jordan takes 5.3 FTAs per game compared to Capela's 2.2 FTAs. Meaning, the sample size is small enough for any 'hotstreak'/variance to heavily affect Capela's percentage.

So yeah, no to that bet. I'll just enjoy the moral victory of me winning this argument since you failed to provide any actual evidence (pure conjecture and speculation aside) to your claim of Capela being a better FT shooter.
