    3. Now THAT is the definition of a good win. The Rockets went into Oracle and handed the mighty Warriors an L in double overtime in a game where they very much outplayed Golden State. They followed that up by notching a win in Denver in what was the very definition of a schedule loss. Patrick Beverley is a plus-44 in his past two games over just 57 minutes.​

    As we were saying all game long in the Denver Game Thread, covering many years, Denver at home wins at around 80% when the opponent is away on a B2B and like 85% when it is a double away B2B ... and this had the trap game affect of being B2B after GSW. Pretty sure everyone who understands how B2Bs work had this as a "scheduled lose."

    Without Beverly we look like a 46 win team. With him we look like a 53 win team. The +/- supports that, but it's not like he's that big a playmaker. I think it just speaks to how Beverly in rotation puts everyone else in their right place. And it gives us someone who can at least execute the offensive sets when Harden sits.

    3rd game in 4 nights if I remember right, in high Altitude Denver of all places after a 2OT game victory over the Warriors. Yeap, should have been a loss but wasn't.
