Detroit sounds like a miserable place. I don't know much about it, but based off of 8 Mile, I wouldnt want to raise my kids there, if I had any kids.

i don't think this is a danger game. the pistons are a pretty good and well coached team. i hope we win, but it'll be extremely tough.

we lose if our shooting doesn't come through. there's no scoring in that paint.

 

The Pistons are textbook mediocre, and that may be generous. If the rockets claim to be a good team, this is a game they should win.

 

I am temporarily displaced up here in Ohio working for BP, and have visited Detroit a few times since I have been up here. Media hypes up the "miserableness" of the city. It actually is pretty nice Downtown. I wouldn't venture into the hood though......

 

Pistons were the last undefeated home team. I haven't watched them, but seems like they play decent at home. Coming off their first home loss of the season, I fully expect them to be locked in out of the gate. We need to be careful and come out with energy.

 

And isn't Auburn Hills a nice suburban town outside of Detroit? I've heard the actual town has very little economy related to manufacturing and more to do with finance/business.

Regardless, this is another win for this team. The Rockets are averaging out into expectations. An above 0.500 team with no serious hopes for a title unless a few injuries or meltdowns work in our favor.

harden's pistons/hawks games are probably some of my best memories in houston sports...

i think all of us were awestruck at his output.

i'm not going to lie. i was a bit sour on the trade; i thought lamb was the second coming of tmac...jeez...

 

no, this would not be an unexpected loss. detroit are good at home and play the rockets well.

Rockets need to start the game with a serious attitude, the Jazz looked pretty trash again yesterday, i hope our guys don't expect another easy game or we may be in for a long night...
