I pity people who only see the world in black and white. It can't possibly be that there is more than one factor at play here.....

The US/Mexico border is the most traveled international border in the world. Just in July of 2016 along the Southern border there were 21 million personal vehicle passengers, 3.4 million pedestrians, 264k bus passengers, and 439k commercial truck crossings. Seems the wall is just an expensive bandaid over a deep wound.

Maybe we should just stop trade and personal travel altogether with Mexico and make America great again?

 

Just think about that.... approximately 25 million people cross the Southern border monthly.....
