    I love caramelized onions.... But tha answe is bacon. Everyone who talked down to bacon has been reported for being a communist.

    I prefer red onions or raw white onions on my burgers over caramelized onions.

    I also prefer avocados over bacon any day.

    don't care for raw onions.

    Love them caramelized. and with bacon please.

    Now if I had to choose only 1 it would be bacon but don't make me make that choice.

    Bacon is on the short list of cheat ingredients that can make almost anything better: bacon, cream, and booze. Onions are great and all, but let's be serious.

    Conversely, This weekend I put caramelized onions on some puffy tacos at Lupe Tortilla and it made them 10 times better than they already are.

    Not bacon, 'cause it's not cured and stuff, but I've had some amazing pork belly tacos before.

    Like all civilized people, I vote both, either or neither, depending on what I'm eating.
