You're on target. Some voters felt like Harden didn't stand up for McHale and have is back. Either that, or worse, Harden was the one behind the seasons asking for McHale to be removed. But either way, many in the media put McHale's firing at Hardens's feet.
Like you somehow forgot they won 73....73 games out of 82.. Even if you say curry is worth 20 wins, which is above and beyond MVP level, they still win 53 games with two all nba'ers, which is totally reasonable.
it doesnt matter. Harden has a bad reputation and players like Lillard , cp3, Klay and Steph were locks
And you left out the one real lock as well - Westbrook. It has more to do with what the other guards did with their rosters as opposed to what stats James put up with his.
lol media hates Harden. Doesn't matter if he played his heart out for 48 minutes per game down the stretch to get this sorry excuse for a team into the playoffs.
Actually it turns out that Harden did NOT care about winning MVP last year, because if he did care, he would've been working out all summer trying to improve and win it this year. Instead he did none of that and came into camp fat and out of shape.
The league and the media that covers it reach new heights of absurdity. Harden doesn't deserve to be on the All NBA team? What a joke. What an absolute crock.
Apparently he was hurt, but I can agree with this. Hopefully this offseason he matures and comes back better. We shall see.
http://thesportsquotient.com/nba/2016/5/27/i-get-it-but-james-harden-should-have-made-an good read. Disagree about Klay, but Lillard has to be taken down a notch, and this article does a great job at that.
