It seems there has been some mutual interest from Joerger and Sacramento previously.

Two of the past 3 seasons he's been seeking a release from the Grizz.

Don't try and tell me there hasn't been preliminary conversations in the past between representatives of the two.

I think it's more a fact that this is where his sight is set on (because of them $$$$) than it is to him not wanting to coach the Rockets. I never had the feeling he was even in contention here (for better or worse)

All I know is I will smile about this most recent dumpster fire of a season if it nets us JVG.

Would love him if he could implement a motion offense. Im sure with a good offensive assistant (not finch) and his pure coaching abilities, it could happen. I think people maybe over looking just how bad our offense really is and how it affects the defense.

Dave Joerger is the coach I have wanted all along. Amazing timing he is available now. I think he would be a great fit with Morey. He is into analytics, coaches D, is willing to play up tempo and flexible. And is young and can grow.

No idea who this guy is Joerger.

Will rep if anyone has a soundbite for him much like someone did for Vogel.

There must be a deal already set in stone, whether it is JVG or other great coaches. That's why Rockets are quiet and wait and see what happens this week. I don't know..

he is over rated, basically took over from Hollins and did the same withe the same roster by playing the same game plan

Frank Vogel is a far better coach

From someone I know who has some inside info with Sacto, apparently this was a done deal within an hour of his firing. Kings called him up immediately, similarly to what cyber leaked with Vogel. Not sure we had a shot.
