    it's not a lot of if's - it's 2 player acquisitions. but acquiring both of those isn't simple (especially for the astros). i understand that.

    You don't need perfection. Also, adding a #1-2 type starter and a very good catcher fills many of their holes... It extends the batting order and fixes a lot of the issues in the rotation.

    when the trend is for the Astros pitchers to repeatedly fall behind 2-3 runs by the 2nd inning in games, obviously that puts a ton of EXTRA pressure on the batters to perform

    Was Correa clutch at all last season? I'm a little worried about his ability to come through when we need hits and guys are in scoring position.
