if morey wants him its because he sees a puppet for analytics.

if harden wants him its because he sees another coach who wont hold him accountable.

the fact that both of them want him is a terrible sign. however, in my thread i did put him as the most likely choice because of how much morey, harden, and les will like the idea of him.

Brooks is another yes man, no thank you. Harden doesn't need to picking coaches that will let him sit on his all the time on the defensive end.

so, i know KD will be a free agent, but is there an indication anywhere that he prefers Brooks to Donovan? Harden to Westbrook? Capela to 'Stash Bros?

    no?

Harden will at least have to sign off on the new coach. No way Les and Morey are going to hire a coach that Harden doesn't want. Harden thinks he deserves to have the same power that Lebron has.

**** Harden's opinion at this point. We need a solid coach that can help us succeed post Harden. And Brooks definitely isn't the one.

He only gets that if he plays as good as LeBron, which he wasn't anywhere close to this year

A lot of those guys became douches in Houston, I wonder why.

they think they can do whatever they want and get away with it.

Don't see how he's any different from McHale. Thunder fans wanted him shipped out for years because he was holding them back.

Brooks sucks as a coach. The only reason to do it would be Durant bait

Did you see the Rockets' performance in Game 1? Have you seen them all season? There's no way they're winning this series and they may not even win a single game. So why not get the word out now that the coaching job is available?

Why should Harden have any say so in who the next coach is? We need someone that won't be afraid to bench his ass for his pathetic effort on defense.

If it means landing Durant then fine.

    Otherwise no way.

If he doesn't come with Durant, then I don't want it.

Harden is no Lebron or KD or Curry or even a Kawhi or AD or Towns to demand a coach. This organization's lack of cojones towards Harden has already caused damage. He just does whatever he wants out there including not playing an ounce of defense knowing he has Mauri and the coaches by the balls.

Only way I want Brooks is if KD says "get Brooks as coach and I'll sign in Houston"

We need a coach who will hold Harden and the others accountable and have an identity on both offense and defense.
