    This reminds me of Neshek last year before he was overused a bit. He didn't respond well after throwing quite a few back to back and 3 games in 4 days. Hopefully with the extra depth in the pen he won't have to be used like that this year and can pitch well all year

    He was pitching hurt in August. It obviously showed. Had off-season bone spur removal surgery.

    He was a tremendous 8th inning guy for most of last year...people just remembering the end of the season struggles.

    pretty sure we found out in the offseason that he was hurt. (maybe as a result of overuse? But may not have been the overuse / tiredness that resulted in poor outings as much as the actual injury)
