    Royals announcers have replayed the 3-2 pitch to Gordon about 6 times and still can't figure out why it wasn't strike 3. They don't know what the hell Cooper's strike zone is either.

    But Giles can't get that much of the plate to a guy like Morales. Same thing Hochevar did to Altuve.

    A shining example of a catcher who can win games both with his glove and his bat.... along with being a manager on the field.

    Giles hung it... deserved to get crushed. His stuff is certainly there... needs a mental tune-up.

    This is not the Gomez I expected this year. Really thought when healthy he would start to look better again. Long season, but he just looks really bad right now.
