It was a different era and many players got into fights - Jordan got into more altercations than Hakeem. It was just the way the league was.

He was pretty awesome for many many years. He was not any more a hothead than his peers. Charlie Thomas didn't treat him with the respect he deserved, that's for sure.

Anyone who disrespects Hakeem like that troll should be booted off the board immediately. It's called CLUTCHfans.

I don't hate on TMac nearly as much as some others, I actually really enjoyed watching McGrady play. But if you consider TMac to be a legend, and dismiss a decade of Hakeem's career, then you're simply ignorant.

Didn't mention the 2 rebounding titles (3 if his games played qualified), 3 block titles (both stats Duncan and Shaq combined for ZERO TOTAL) and several other unprecedented feats of basketball history.

    "and he did it pretty"

He's better than 100 McGradys and 100 James Hardens combined.

100 McGradys + 100 Hardens = ZERO NBA FINALs, ZERO MVPs , ZERO DPOYS, ZERO FINALS MVPS
