    I never understood it myself.

He made 300, which was a cool action movie, but not a good movie. He made Watchmen, which I really liked, but was polarizing and a financial disappointment. Then he made Sucker Punch, which was a critical, and financial disappointment.

He has a style that some like, some don't. But nothing about him suggested he would be a good choice to helm a franchise that would appeal to the masses.

They should left Affleck direct. However batman would have to move to boston, and probably not as much special effects, but I think we know Affleck can write and direct.

Ive seen alot of fans reviews, which are better than the critics. Yes, too much was stuffed into one movie.

I watched Deadpool last week and I thought it was OK, some humor. I think it was shocked to the senses to critics who expected super hero movies to be one way. I didnt think it was a great movie. The Captain America movies have been great. 2nd Avengers movie sucked, but still got decent reviews. I really liked Man of Steel. So, I will be seeing this on Friday.....and make up my own mind.

Saw it last night. Entertaining movie but has some parts that dont make any sense. Jesse Eisenberg did a good job. Overall, it was entertaining but im glad I didnt have to pay to see it.

I wasn't surprised by the end. After all, that's how things went in the comics when Doomsday first showed up.

I found Joblo's review much more positive than my personal experience. Of the dozens of reviews I've read since seeing it, this one sums up my feelings on the film best:

I was another one of those at the IMAX early screening at MARQ'E. I absolutely loved it because it took itself seriously. It's especially a breath of fresh air after watching Marvel movies doing the exact opposite.

I was pleased with the performance of most of the characters, but the story line and easter eggs stole the show for me.

Music was very solid and fit the scenes. I plan on watching it again this weekend.

There is no post-credits scene, and it was appropriate since the film ended with a massive cliff-hanger.

However, I will say Snyder essentially inserted the post-credits scene in the middle of the film which is clever. It was pretty epic but I don't think everyone caught it.

Also, Neil deGrasse Tyson absolutely stole the show. Okay fine so that may be a joke, but it was nice to see him make a brief cameo. Felt like I was listening to a StarTalk podcast for 30 seconds.

I'll have my chance to watch it at home. When it's dark and sentimental.

    Just ask Batman.

This might be the cherry on top of all the things I have heard that give me great hope this movie will be a glorious disaster. Awkward title cards, convoluted dream sequences, Krypton sized plot holes.

Looks like this movie will flop at the box office. First weekend will be great but it will have no legs because it's not a good movie. I expect a tremendous drop off 2nd week which is a disaster considering the amount of resources WB put into the movie.

I doubt this, but it doesn't matter. Will make a billion in foreign box office. China is ruining american movies.

I can't think of another polarizing film than this. The disconnect between the critics' reviews and comic book fans is MASSIVE.

Currently 37% rotten tomatoes critics but 83% approved by users. Currently an 8.6/10 on IMDB
