Rocket's Talent Question - Top 10 Talent

    While I am riding the high from the win last night
    As I look around the league -- Well at the top of the league
    What positions do you think the Rockets have TOP 10 IN THE LEAGUE Talent?

    Obviously we have TOP 5 talent at SG - Harden and Probably Center - Dwight At worse Dwight is Top 10

    Would you say the Rockets have another Top 10 player at any other position?

    the reason I ask

    I look at Golden State - It's say they have Top 5 talent in at least 2 positions and maybe a third PG, SG, PF

    San Antonio - Top 5 PG, PF, Top 10 at Center with Duncan

    Cleveland - Top 5 PG, SF, Top 10 with Love

    Thunder - Top 5 at SF, SG - Top 10 PF

    While no team has Top 5 in Three positions . .. All those top teams have top 5 in two and a top 10 in a third position

    Who is that Third person that is in the Top ten in their position
    The Closest I have is Ariza . . . .Beverly maybe?
    Do you think they are?

    San Antonio also has Kawhi Leonard. He's gotta be Top something.

    And no, neither Ariza or Beverley are top __ at their position.

    Harden is top 5 offensive SG, bottom 5 defensive SG. How is he top 5 SG overall?

    is tony parker still a top 5 pg? not sure about that one. they have leonard, that's more significant. lma top 5? barely.

    dwight is top 10, for sure. and you can make a case for ariza, too.

    The reasons (people) for the success of the Spurs this season :

    1. Kawhi Leonard
    2. Pop
    3. RC Bufford
    4. A group of very good role players - which basically including everyone else in the team.

    Warriors have top 5 at 3 positions. Please quit underselling draymond.

    Anyways no while we think we have "so much talent" we really don't.

    Starters
    Pg - in the 20- 30 range
    Sg - top 3(the best)
    Sf - 10-20 range
    Pf - somewhere in between 50-100(just horrible)
    C - top 10

    Bench is a bottom half of the league squad.

    We really lack talent. Last year just speaks to how amazing our team played

    Nope. That's not what Ariza or Bev was brought in to be. (Ariza's close-ish, he does a lot more than stats give him credit for)

    What you're asking for is a third star. Obviously that was Lawson's job, and the gamble didn't pay off. You're not going to pull another one out of thin air on such short notice. D-Mo's the only other guy on the team who had even a tiny chance of reaching that level, and he's broken.
