ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Nuggets 12/14/2015

Anybody blaming the refs is a fool. The Rockets lost because they (once again) thought the Nuggets would roll over, didn't care at all in the 1st quarter, and once again choked a lead that was too big of a hole to overcome.

 

Calvin:
The interior defense was horrendous. 60+ points in the paint. Did Capela's absence mean that much? Last play, Dwight was left holding the ball 23 feet 9 inches from the basket. That's not his job. No one came to get it. That's not being mentally in tune with the game.

 

All the teams I root for just LOSE.

 

it's a bit odd, the refs were so god awful and so one sided (they were a +20 for denver), i'm more disappointed that terry 3 didn't drop than upset at the team

 

Looking forward to Calvin Murphy's rant. I always seem to relate to him after a Rockets loss.

 

We made 18-40 threes and still lost that is crazy to think about

 

Rebounds killed us. Our PFs our useless in rebounding.

 

There's always someone out there who'll take a bad player of your hands thinking they'll fit better in their system. Lawson was a really good PG last year. Brewer was a very good role player over the past few seasons. Jones has shown flashes of being a decent 4. And none of them have horrible contracts, although Brewer's won't be easy to dump.

 

At this point all you can say is that the Rockets just suck.

 

I don't know who hates the Rockets more this season. Bill or Murphy.

 

Poor guys are looking at the schedule and realizing we're not even 1/3 of the way through.

 

Man JR I was all excited but seriously that's what I was thinking what team would be dumb enough to take him !!!!!

 

I agree, but Dwight was awful tonight - especially on defense.

 

Hate to see lazy Harden and choke Lawson...

 

I just think that as much as they have been around the game they just see how up and down they are and it's frustrating !!!!!

 

Brewer can't be traded until mid January.

I get the feeling they're not going to engage in a trade so easily because of the flak they copped over firing McHale after 11 games into a season. They'll be more patient, maybe too patient, with this roster to prove they were right.

 

Awful. I wish we could play the lakers every other day.

 

You can blame it all. I don't know why it has to be either or.

Forcing the Rockets to go with Jones at center was a big momentum changer. They had control of the game until that point.

 

Murphy is frustrated!!! Big time.

 

Lawson doesnt even attack on the PNR anymore
