    HIV is tough to contract. Chances are he got it through doing injections(via drugs) or banged dudes.

    It can spread via heterosexual intercourse but I'm going with IV drugs!

    i remember reading an article on the boxer tommy morrison where he claimed he had been cured of hiv. the article countered with something about how a cocktail of anti-hiv drugs can lower the virus to undetectable amounts. people weren't cured and the hiv would blow up again once they stopped taking the drugs which had heavy side effects.
