There have been plenty of teams with mediocre defense that have won because they have a good QB..

Not blaming this on Mallet, this type of loss is indicative of the entire team and organization.

The point is, there needs to be a change particularly in the front office. 8 years of Rick Smith and what do we have to show for it? 2 division titles that never led to anything?

The only thing to show for this regime is mediocre season after mediocre season.
