LeBron "I would rather not even make the playoffs than lose in the finals"

I get it.

He's in it to win it, the finals appearance or the playoff experience means nothing to him at this point in his career unless he's winning a ring.

The whole playoffs is useless unless your winning a ring.

 

too bad mccgrady could not have played a team with a losing record in the 1st round a time or two.

 

He said this right after the finals a few months ago. I get what you are saying but you sound like an entitled ass. Its one of those things.

How can you not want to play in the playoffs. That's where the best basketball is played in the world...not the regular season.

No college player would ever say, "I'd rather not make it to the Big Dance/March Madness if I'm not going to win."

Thats exactly what it translates to, doesnt sound dumb at all.

Easy to understand, who wants to lose that much in the Championship round? Losing one time is painful enough, but lose times 4 and damn that can be depressing.

 

Totally missing the point but people are always looking wayyy too into it. Maybe if Dirk said it you'd understand better.
