    But this is also in theory that the hitter he chooses to PH actually drives in the run...not a guarantee either.

    If you were actually 80-90% sure he was going to K, then I certainly would have pinch-hit. Even a bad MLB hitter who is 0-3, 3K's... I give a decent shot at hitting a sac fly or RBI groundout

    I'm not presuming heavy traffic. With Conger, I'm presuming 1 hit (more likely than 1 HR)...and then if I'm the other team and Conger's catching, I get someone fast in and get him moving.
